Join the Washington DC VA Caregiver Support Program as we host our FIRST Community Connections Event!

We have invited the Legal Council for the Elderly (LCE) and the District of Columbia's Caregivers' Institute (DCCI), and the Kenneth H. Nash Post 8 (a local post of the American Legion) to present on services and resources they offer to Veterans and their caregivers.

The Legal Council for the Elderly (LCE) has championed the dignity and rights of Washington D.C. elders by providing free legal and social work services to those in need. For more information, feel free to visit their website at: https://www.aarp.org/legal-counsel-for-elderly/

The District of Columbia's Caregivers' Institute (DCCI) is a program funded by the Department on Aging and Community Living (DACL) that provides services and support to unpaid primary caregivers of seniors and persons with disabilities. The Kenneth H. Nash Post 8 is a local post of the American Legion, located on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. It is a non-profit organization that provides a center of community for its members, promotes volunteerism and holds fundraising drives to support veterans.
